There is absolutely no comparison between watching an online lesson and having a qualified educator working directly beside you. Your educator can watch how you hold your tools, control your product, file the nail, and perform every step of the service. Mistakes can be corrected immediately before they become habits. A video cannot watch you work, correct an unsafe technique, or confirm that you can perform the service properly.

You will build a complete foundation in professional gel nail services. Training includes nail and product knowledge, consultations, sanitation and disinfection, natural-nail preparation, hand and electric filing, gel polish, structured overlays, sculpted extensions, form fitting, shaping, fills, repairs, removals, finishing, introductory nail art, aftercare, professionalism, and business fundamentals.

Yes. Safe professional practice is taught throughout the course. Students learn proper sanitation and disinfection, cross-contamination prevention, responsible product handling, equipment care, dust and exposure reduction, and how to recognize when a service should not be performed.

Students train with trusted professional products and systems from brands such as Akzentz, BEMI, Magic, and Amore. Professional products provide dependable quality, consistent performance, proper instructions, and product support. That is very different from buying an unknown product without knowing its source, ingredients, curing requirements, compatibility, or consistency.

Yes. Students are introduced to current product-safety topics, including why professional brands are developing more TPO-free and HEMA-free options. You will also learn that a label alone does not make poor technique safe: correct application, compatible curing systems, and keeping uncured gel off the skin remain essential.

The course combines structured theory, live demonstrations, guided hands-on practice, and personalized correction. Classes are limited to a maximum of 4 students so each student receives individual attention and direct feedback. Private one-on-one training is also available for students who prefer to learn individually.

Yes. Electric-file training is included. Students learn controlled e-file technique, the purposes of different bits, product removal and refinement, maintenance services, and the cleaning, disinfection, storage, and care of professional tools and equipment. Dust collection and curing equipment are also discussed as part of responsible professional practice.

Yes. You will learn how preparation, product choice, nail structure, curing, maintenance, and client habits affect the finished service. Understanding why a problem happens helps you correct the cause instead of guessing or repeatedly changing products.

You will also leave with the professional products and equipment needed to begin working with clients right away. Yes. Technical skill is only one part of becoming a successful nail professional. The course introduces client consultations, professional communication, appointment flow, aftercare, client retention, pricing considerations, and the standards expected in a professional salon environment.

Nove Academy’s published Gel Nails example uses four $80 appointments per day, five days per week. That represents $320 in service sales per day, $1,600 per week, or $6,400 over four weeks. After an estimated $1,200 in supplies, approximately $5,200 remains before other business expenses and taxes.
